Finite element analysis of a 2D cantilever on a noisy intermediate‐scale quantum computer

چکیده

Quantum computing is a promising new paradigm that may yield both significant speedup over classical algorithms as well ways to think about problems and finding novel solution algorithms. While large-scale error-corrected quantum computers are still under development, selection of noisy intermediate-scale processing units readily made available by some companies via cloud access. Despite the lack error correction, these can be used test established on custom problem setups. Here, we solve finite element two-dimensional cantilever, completely fixed one side loaded opposite side, 15-qubit QPU from IBM.
